Saizeriya, a cheap and cheerful Japanese Italian ‘Family Restaurant’
I’ve been back in Japan for around a month and a half. One of the biggest difference between England and Japan are the the restaurant prices and the quality of food. I enjoyed English food in general, but for a meal in England it would probably cost a lot less in Japan.

The price of pasta is roughly 500 yen, some Japanese varieties to try are Tarako pasta, a creamy, cod roe (?) sauce topped with seaweed and Mentaiko pasta a spicier version of this.

As with the pasta, the pizza is priced at around 300 – 500 yen. While not as good as the pasta on offer, there are some Japanese options to try, squid rings or shimeji mushrooms are two.

Salad, nothing special, but cheap non the less.

and some desserts, panna cota, tiramisu, truffle ice cream.

Have you ever tried Tarako or Mentaiko pasta?
