Japanese Vegetables, Daikon and Hakusai
There are many different types of vegetables in Japan, the fruit and vegetable section of a Japanese supermarket looks a lot different to the supermarkets I shop at in England.
Have you tried any of these Japanese Vegetables?

All of the ones above plus satsumo-imo, Japanese eggplant, yamagobo, and daikon sprouts.

All of those are good. But don’t forget about shiso!

Mitsuba, shishito, kabura, ginko nuts, daikon greens (the top part), kinome, kabocha, shishigatani (pumpkin), kiku greens…and so many more. There is such an abundance of wonderful Japanese vegetables. I am especially appreciative of the way Japanese cooks use everything from the vegetables…nothing goes to waste.
